The Micro Bird T-Series school bus combines modern design, efficiency and versatility with Micro Bird’s commitment to safety and durability. Purpose-built on the Ford Transit chassis, the Type A T-Series features an aerodynamic oval body design, available all-wheel drive and seating for up to 25 passengers, making it a practical and fuel-efficient choice for a variety of school transportation needs.

Designed for exceptional driver visibility, the T-Series school bus features Micro Bird’s More-View^™ panoramic window design, a fully glazed entrance door and a standard 24-inch electric double-opening door for a clear view of students during loading and unloading. Full-length, heavy-gauge steel side-impact barriers with an integrated seat rail provide additional protection, while integrated child seats and 3-point lap-and-shoulder seat belts are available. The T-Series school bus also offers full special-needs capability, including ADA-compliant wheelchair lifts from Braun and Ricon, Micro Bird-exclusive dual lift doors and securement anchorage options.

Two 3.5L Ford gas engine options are available, paired with a 10-speed automatic overdrive transmission with SelectShift^®. Easily accessible engine, wiring and electrical compartments also help simplify maintenance and lower operating costs.
