Peterbilt Model 537EV
The all-electric Peterbilt Model 537EV is one of Peterbilt’s latest medium-duty additions to its zero-emissions lineup. The Class 7 Model 537EV is specifically designed for regional delivery, service and utility applications, combining advanced technology with powerful performance to meet the demands of today’s job sites. Its EV-exclusive grille and hood side panels provide a contemporary look, all while maintaining the rugged presence of the diesel-powered Model 537.
The PACCAR ePowertrain at the core of the Peterbilt 537EV features a midship-mounted eMotor that delivers up to 605 hp and 1,850 lb.-ft. of torque, paired with a 3-speed transmission for seamless shifting with no torque interruption. Power is supplied by your choice of two high-voltage battery options — ranging from 250 to 375 kWh — that provide a range of 185 to 280 miles on a single charge. Designed with flexibility in mind, the ePowertrain architecture is adaptable for any wheelbase over 163” and supports standard body connections with multiple ePTO options. An adjustable regenerative braking system takes advantage of frequent stops and starts to enhance efficiency and extend the vehicle’s range. And inside the cab, a 15” digital touchscreen puts essential EV data at your fingertips, including estimated range, power regeneration and efficiency insights.
