The Hino XL8 is powered by Hino’s fuel-efficient AO9 model 9-liter diesel engine with horsepower ranges from 300 to 360 horsepower and has a B-10 life of 1,000,000 miles. The Allison automatic transmission with double overdrive and synthetic fluids helps keep your cost per mile low and driver efficiency high. Multi-leaf spring or Hendrickson air ride suspensions are also available. Standard drum air brakes or air disc brakes are available. The spacious, comfortable air ride cab, with air ride driver’s seat and Bluetooth radio and steering wheel controls, has excellent visibility, a tight wheel cut, great comfort, and very low noise levels that drivers will love. Optional Hino Safety Suite with Wabco camera and radar technologies is available.
