Micro Bird D-Series Electric
The Micro Bird D-Series Electric is a 100% battery-electric commercial bus designed to support sustainability goals, lower operating costs, and provide a quiet, clean ride. Its electric powertrain significantly reduces greenhouse gas emissions and maintenance costs compared to internal combustion engines. Seating up to 21 passengers in various available floor plans, it can also be fitted with ADA-compliant wheelchair lifts from suppliers like Braun and Ricon.
The D-Series Electric is built on a Ford E-450 chassis featuring Micro Bird’s exclusive 2-speed transmission as well as four available driving modes to maximize vehicle performance. A regenerative braking system extends its range to approximately 100 miles per charge, with level 3 fast charging enabling a full charge in as little as two hours. The D-Series Electric is also vehicle-to-grid (V2G) capable, allowing it to supply power back to the grid.
