IC Bus Electric CE Series
The IC Bus® Electric CE Series is a Type C school bus that combines the familiar CE Series platform with quiet, zero-tailpipe-emissions electric power. With seating for up to 78 passengers, four wheelbase options and a GVWR of up to 35,000 pounds, it can be configured around your district's routes, capacity requirements and operating priorities. Two battery options provide ranges of 135 miles or more than 200 miles, allowing fleets to select the capacity that best fits their daily transportation needs.
A direct-drive permanent magnet motor delivers up to 255 kW or 342 horsepower, while three levels of driver-selectable regenerative braking help return energy to the batteries. The Electric CE Series comes ready for AC and DC fast charging with a standard front charge port or available rear charge port. Available vehicle-to-grid capability provides additional flexibility for compatible fleet energy systems. Safety features include standard electronic stability control, the Bendix® Intellipark® electronic parking brake and the No Student Left Behind® child monitor system. Optional IC Bus Full View Camera Technology™ by Rosco® provides additional visibility around the bus.
