The sixth annual Bus Training Expo will be June 23–24 at the Northwest Arkansas Convention Center in Springdale, Arkansas. We’ve partnered with Northwest Arkansas Student Transportation Association and Dawson Education Services Cooperative to bring you two days of training classes, industry updates and fun for directors, technicians, and everyone in between.

We’ve gathered experts from around the country to help you and your district stay up to date on the latest news, available systems and service certifications needed to keep your pupil transportation running smoothly. Seating will be limited for each class.

We’re pleased to bring state-required CDL training to this year's Bus Training Expo. Attendance is limited to Expo attendees only. The class does cover multiple sessions, so please review the class schedule to help you determine your selections.

The Allison, CDL and Disc and Drum Brake classes are considered "certification classes". The Allison and CDL classes are multi-part classes that overlap with other offerings. Refer to the class agenda for help registering for the classes you need.
Completion certificates will be available for all other classes as well.

Technician Rodeo
Pre-Qualification Required
New this year, we're calling all school bus technicians to put their skills to the test against their peers for prizes and bragging rights. Interested technicians will complete a 60-question prequalification test. The top six qualifying technicians, one per school district, will be invited to compete in the rodeo.

Announcement: June 5
The top 6 qualifiers for the Technician Rodeo will be announced June 5.
The competition will take place on Tuesday, June 23, from 8:30 am–12:00 pm. Participants may register for other classes for Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday.

Expo Hall Details and Important Dates

Booth setup begins June 22 at 2:00 p.m. After-hours setup can be arranged by contacting Jackie Bell and Mary Robinson at arkansasbusexpo@rushenterprises.com or 479-970-2270.
Booth breakdown will begin June 24 at 5:00 p.m. All items will need to be removed from the floor by 8:00 p.m. Overnight storage for pickup on June 26 can be arranged for an additional charge.

The Expo Hall will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on June 23rd and 24th, and booths must always be manned.

Deadline: June 12
Additional show services (internet, electricity, décor, etc.) can be purchased directly through the hotel. Complete the Vendor Order Form and submit it to ashlea.armstrong@atriumhospitality.com no later than June 12.
Important Sponsor Information

- Each sponsor receives a 10' x 10' booth space
- Booths are separated with pipe and drape
- Each booth includes a standard 8’ table and two chairs. No additional décor is provided.
