Isuzu FVR
The Isuzu FVR is a Class 7 heavy-duty truck, also available in a Class 6 medium-duty FVR De-Rate configuration. Built for urban environments, both models offer exceptional versatility and can be upfitted for a wide range of applications across eight wheelbase options, from 152" to 248". Its low-cab-forward design enhances maneuverability, visibility and payload capability, while supporting body lengths from 14' to 30'.
Engineered for demanding workloads, the FVR delivers a GVWR and GCWR of up to 33,000 lbs., while the FVR De-Rate offers a GVWR of 29,950 lbs. and a GCWR of 33,000 lbs. A durable dual rear-wheel chassis supports substantial body payloads, ranging from 21,455–22,989 lbs. on the FVR and 14,405–15,939 lbs. on the De-Rate. For extended range and fewer refueling stops, both models offer optional 50- or 100-gallon fuel tanks. Power comes from a Cummins B6.7L turbocharged 6-cylinder diesel engine paired with an Allison 2500 Rugged Duty Series™ 6-speed automatic transmission, producing 260 hp and 660 lb.-ft. of torque.
