Yes. Blue Bird offers fully electric versions of the Vision and All American RE school buses. Electric buses produce zero tailpipe emissions, reduce fuel and maintenance costs, and provide a quieter driving experience for students and drivers. Both the Vision Electric and All American RE Electric offer a range of up to 150 miles and are powered by a 194 kWh Li-ION NMC battery.
How many passengers can Blue Bird buses hold?
Blue Bird buses are specifically tailored to each customer and are available in a wide variety of configurations and seating arrangements. Blue Bird's NextGen Seats can be easily removed, rearranged, and mixed and matched to allow for flexible, versatile seating arrangements.
The All American RE can accommodate up to 84 passengers, while the All American FE can hold up to 90 passengers. The Vision can fit up to 83 passengers in the diesel, propane and gasoline models, and the Vision Electric can hold up to 77 passengers.

Blue Bird's diesel buses are outfitted with either a Cummins B6.7 diesel engine (Vision, All American RE and All American FE) or a Cummins L9 diesel engine (All American RE). The Blue Bird Vision is also available with a Ford 7.3L V8 gasoline engine or a Ford 7.3L engine with a ROUSH CleanTech Liquid Propane Fuel System.

It is designed for higher passenger capacity, improved maneuverability and increased driver visibility. The All American RE also provides a quieter ride by positioning the engine in the back.
