With a maximum towing capacity of up to 3,500 lbs., the Escape is ready for urban adventures and back-road getaways. A range of available powertrains — including turbocharged EcoBoost® gas engines, as well as Hybrid and Plug-In Hybrid options — delivers a balance of performance and efficiency. Gas models are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, while hybrid models feature an electronically controlled CVT for smooth operation. Front-wheel drive comes standard on select models, with available all-wheel drive for enhanced traction in changing road conditions.
