The Micro Bird G5 Multi-Function School Activity Bus (MFSAB) combines the proven safety, durability and versatility of the G5 platform with the flexibility organizations need for transportation beyond traditional school routes. With a spacious 96-inch-wide body and capacity for up to 36 passengers, the G5 MFSAB is designed for schools, childcare providers and other organizations that need safe, comfortable group transportation.

The G5 MFSAB features Micro Bird's More-View™ panoramic design, a fully glazed entrance door and a standard 32-inch electric double-opening door for enhanced visibility and access. Full-length, heavy-gauge steel side-impact barriers provide additional protection, while integrated child seats and 3-point lap-and-shoulder seat belts are available. ADA-compliant wheelchair lifts from Braun and Ricon, Micro Bird-exclusive dual lift doors and securement anchorage options provide flexibility for passengers with mobility needs.

The G5 MFSAB is available with gas, propane or electric power, giving organizations the flexibility to match their transportation needs, sustainability goals and infrastructure. Gas-powered G5 MFSAB models are available on Chevy/GMC chassis with a 6.6L engine or Ford chassis with a 7.3L V8, both paired with a six-speed automatic overdrive transmission.

Micro Bird MFSABs meet all FMVSS requirements for school buses except those requiring school bus traffic control devices, including flashing lights and stop arms.
