Micro Bird G5 Electric Multi-Function School Activity Bus
The Micro Bird G5 Electric Multi-Function School Activity Bus (MFSAB), also known as the G5e MFSAB, combines the proven safety, durability and versatility of the G5 platform with zero-emission electric performance. Designed for transportation beyond traditional school routes, the G5e MFSAB accommodates up to 30 passengers and offers up to 200 miles of range on a single charge.
Built on a Ford chassis with a 600V Ecotuned electric powertrain, the G5e MFSAB is available with 140 kWh or 175 kWh battery capacity and supports Level 2 and Level 3 DC fast charging. Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) capability provides additional opportunities for energy cost optimization, while regenerative braking helps extend range and reduce brake wear.
The G5 Electric MFSAB features Micro Bird's More-View™ panoramic design, a fully glazed entrance door and a 32-inch electric double-opening door for enhanced visibility and access. ADA-compliant wheelchair lifts from Braun and Ricon, Micro Bird-exclusive dual lift doors and securement anchorage options provide additional flexibility for passengers with mobility needs.
